PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing Aokeray
Aokeray Medical grade PTFE heat shrink tubing is a type of tubing that is commonly used in medical applications due to its unique properties. PTFE, or polytetrafluoroethylene, is a synthetic fluoropolymer that is known for its high temperature resistance, chemical resistance, and non-stick properties.
The heat shrink aspect of the tubing means that it can be heated to a specific temperature, causing it to shrink and conform to the shape of the object it is covering. This makes it ideal for use in medical devices where a tight, conformal fit is required.

Information needed for a PTFE heat-shrink review
Provide the expanded ID, target recovered ID, wall thickness, cut length, shrink ratio if specified, maximum assembly profile, underlying materials, heat source, temperature and dwell limits, removal or permanent-use requirement, inspection method, prototype quantity, annual demand and requested documents.
Expanded and recovered dimensions must be reviewed together. Shrink ratio alone does not define fit. Loading clearance, heat distribution, dwell time, airflow, fixtures, assembly geometry and the temperature limits of underlying materials should be evaluated before a process window is released.
Validate the heat cycle on the actual assembly and inspect recovered dimensions, wall, appearance and any effect on the underlying component. For a clear fluoropolymer processing sleeve, review FEP heat-shrink tubing. Send a PTFE heat-shrink application for review.
