Historical or project-specific test data may include inner-surface static/dynamic friction values at or below 0.08 under the stated sample preparation and test method. The result is not a universal product guarantee and must be reconfirmed for the selected resin, dimensions, surface and test conditions.

Torque response, kink resistance and guidewire or coil delivery performance depend on the complete shaft construction and finished-device validation.

Endoscopy and Fluid-Path Components

PTFE, FEP and multi-lumen tubing may be evaluated for instrument channels, fluid paths and protected components. Specify the medium, dimensions, repeated-use conditions, cleaning or sterilization method and acceptance tests.

Material and process compatibility must be confirmed for the actual device and use conditions.

Electrical and Thermal Isolation Components

Selected PTFE/FEP heat-shrink configurations may be discussed with shrink ratios up to 4:1, subject to product size, material and recovery conditions. Raw-material or project data may reference dielectric strength of 500 V/mil or greater when tested under the stated ASTM D149 conditions.

These figures are not blanket finished-component or device ratings. Confirm the exact product, wall, conditioning, electrodes, test environment and assembly validation.

Design and Verification Support

Aokeray can review material, geometry, manufacturability, inspection and documentation requirements for a tubing component. The quotation identifies the proposed product and project-specific evidence that can be supplied.

Regulatory submissions, clinical claims and finished-device validation remain the device manufacturer’s responsibility unless a separate written agreement defines another scope.

Controlled Environment Manufacturing & Full Traceability

Aokeray operates fluoropolymer and thermoplastic extrusion lines in controlled-environment areas. The current quality-management certificate, its issuing body, site and scope should be reviewed during supplier qualification; ISO 13485:2016 wording applies only to the scope shown on the current certificate.

Raw Material Integrity

  • Virgin-resin requirements are available for selected projects where specified on the drawing or purchase order.
  • USP Class VI and FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 references, where available, apply to the named resin grade and stated conditions of use. They are not blanket approval of every finished tube or device.
  • Resin lots can be recorded and linked to the supplied component according to the agreed traceability plan.

Batch Traceability

For projects requiring lot traceability, Aokeray can document links between the applicable resin lot, production lot and packaging label. The original two-hour complaint-trace target is a project capability target and should be confirmed in the quality agreement, including records access, product scope and response conditions.

Continuous In-Line Metrology & Geometric Validation

Available process and inspection capability can include the following, subject to tube size, material, equipment configuration and the approved inspection plan:

  • Dual-axis laser micrometers: selected programs may use continuous OD monitoring with project targets such as ±0.0127 mm (0.0005 in). Confirm the applicable range, calibration, alarm and disposition method for the quoted part.
  • Wall and concentricity inspection: selected specifications may target concentricity of 90% or greater when defined and measured by the agreed method. Applicability depends on geometry and sampling.
  • Surface inspection: optical inspection may be used for defined gels, specks, pinholes or other appearance criteria under an agreed lighting, magnification and defect standard.

Empirical Quality Control Protocols & Batch Testing

For selected projects, batch-release testing may include physical, dimensional, surface or thermal checks defined in the drawing and inspection plan. The listed values and methods are retained as available project data and are not automatic release criteria for every tube.
